Heidi Preuss Grew (1970) - earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University, in 1997. She has taught at Ohio University and the Art Institute of Chicago, and since 1999 has taught as an associate professor at Willamette University in Salem.
In her ceramics and drawings, the portrait is in the foreground. She is known for her group and solo exhibitions in the US, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark and Germany. In addition to the US, her works are in collections and museums in Japan, the Czech Republic and Poland.
